Our History
From Local General Contractor to Multi-Service Construction Partner.
Camco Construction was founded in Spokane in 1976 by Lee Campbell and Anna Campbell. What began as a local general contracting business grew through repeat relationships, referrals, and a reputation for dependable execution in both residential and commercial work.
Over the years, Camco expanded into complex remodels, tenant improvements, excavation support, and accessibility-focused construction for homeowners, businesses, and veterans. Today, Leif Challender (President) and Amy Challender (Vice President) continue that family-led model with hands-on project oversight and direct client communication.
